Our community has some great ideas for Hanscom Park! Over the last few months, we received lots of input from neighborhood residents about priorities and suggestions for the Hanscom Park renovation. In April, we hosted an interactive neighborhood workshop to get input from residents in the 3 neighborhoods around the park on their priorities and suggestions for the park renovation. Approximately 40 people participated. We also gathered written input through bilingual questionnaires, one-on-one surveys in the park, and social media (Nextdoor, Facebook, Pinterest, and this website). Almost 100 people submitted written responses in one of these ways. What did we discover? There was a good balance of input from residents across our community and we agreed that we really value the expansive natural beauty of our park, and want to preserve, enhance, and enjoy it with our dogs and our kids.
